We are excited to introduce The Hygienic Hand Balm (HHB) launching on February 27th 2021. The HHB is a first-of-its-kind product that crosses the boundaries of beauty, hygiene and wellness by combining the nourishing qualities of a hand balm with the antibacterial properties of hand sanitiser; killing up to 99.9% of bacteria.
At Purdy & Figg, we know how important it is to look after our hands, and to keep them moisturised, nourished and protected. We launched our first product in April 2020 because we saw that there was a need for a beautiful product made from natural ingredients, which would kill germs, feel smooth and luxurious instead of sticky and leave hands moisturised and delightfully scented. We called our sanitising spray For Hands, because we created it with your hands in mind.
The success of our sanitising spray made us wonder -- is there a product that would give us all day nourishment and protection, providing a hygienic and moisturising base to keep our hands moisturised and germ free?
Launching at the end of February 2021, the HHB is set to transform hand care in 2021 and become an essential part of your daily hygienic hand care routine. Whether it’s after your morning shower, next to the sink or on-the-go, the HHB is adaptable to your lifestyle. It combines encapsulated Shea Butter, ethanol and Pure Essential Oils to create a truly luxurious hand balm that nourishes hands for all-day protection.
Shea butter has been used in cosmetic ingredients for centuries thanks to its moisturising properties and high concentration of naturally occurring vitamins and fatty acids. We wanted to create a product that would combine this soothing and nourishing effect with the antibacterial properties of hand sanitiser. After months of research, we discovered an innovative encapsulating process to separate the Shea Butter from the alcohol; a technique that is unique to the HHB and is the reason it’s able to simultaneously moisturise and disinfect.
Like all of our products, The HHB is beautifully scented with 100% Pure Essential Oils, known for their plethora of aromatherapy benefits. The HHB combines a hand crafted blend of Rose Geranium, Lemon Citrus Oil and Vetiver to create our uplifting and calming Charlotte’s Floral fragrance.
