  It's quite simple really, 70% alcohol kills 99.99% of bacteria and we use only the highest quality isopropyl alcohol available. We blend this with our formula and essential oils to make a hand spray that keeps you clean but also smells great. 
  
  

  Shake gently then pump spray. Rub hands together making sure you clean both fronts and backs of hands, between your knuckles, wrists and fingernails.

• INGREDIENTS  +

  Isopropyl Alcohol: We only bottle our hand spray with the highest quality pharmaceutical grade isopropyl alcohol (aka premium isopropanol). A colourless liquid, quick to evaporate, isopropyl alcohol has excellent anti-bacterial and virus killing properties which make it ideal for sprays, sanitising and disinfection. Our sprays always use a 70% concentration.
  

   

  Hamamelis Virginiana: Commonly known as Witch Hazel this gentle every day cosmetic is kind to the skin as well as useful in the fight against germs. A botanical extract derived from the Hamamelis tree, it is soothing to irritated skin.
  

   

  Vegetable Glycerin: A colourless, originally sweet liquid extracted from vegetable oils. Our Glycerin is non-GMO and vegan friendly. Glycerin has natural moisturising properties and is also antimicrobial and antiviral and which is why it is officially approved in the United States for wound and burn treatments.
  

   

  100% Natural Essential Oils: We use a blend of natural essential oils in our antibacterial hand spray. A hand crafted balance of sweet orange (cheerful and antiseptic), pink grapefruit (uplifting and antimicrobial) and niaouli (antibacterial and antiviral). The natural allergens for these oils are limonene, linalool, geraniol and citral.

  RE-USE YOUR BOTTLE

   

  You'll be pleased to know we are working on a hand sanitiser refill system for our lovely blue glass bottles 😊. In the meantime, you can refill them at home with a simple recipe to make a pillow/bed linen spray. Lavender promotes relaxation and leaves no marks. You can also use cedar wood essential oil as an alternative. This simple recipe has roughly a 2 month shelf life. 

   

  Pillow Spray Recipe -
  
  

  Step 1: Carefully rinse out your empty Purdy & Figg 50ml glass bottle

   

  Step 2: Add to your clean glass bottle two teaspoons of vodka or Witch Hazel (available at your local pharmacy) and 3 drops of lavender essential oil. Screw the top on tightly and shake vigorously for 30 seconds
  

   

  Step 3: Top the mixture up in the bottle with de-ironised water (the stuff you put in your steam iron) and shake again. Leave to settle then spray on your bed linen or pillow!
