(Another) drum roll, please…
We’ve just ranked 9th on the Sunday Times list of the UK’s 100 fastest-growing private companies, after topping the FEBE Growth 100 earlier in June. Growing fast is a nice achievement on its own, but it’s even nicer to be recognised alongside some of the most exciting brands in the UK, by experts in the world of founder-led business.
The renowned Sunday Times 100 list is a celebration of Britain’s innovators and job creators, which also includes other growing, founder-led brands like TRIP, AYBL and Chāmpo. Last year’s listed companies generated a combined £3.2 billion in sales and created over 10,000 new jobs. We’re really proud to be joining a bunch of entrepreneurs making such a massive contribution to the economy.
Purdy & Figg came into existence because our founders, Purdy & Charlotte, were fed up with toxic cleaning products in plastic packaging. They decided to take things into their own hands, and since then we’ve been on a mission to replace all the unnecessary products in people’s homes with one or two completely natural, sustainable, beautifully scented alternatives.
These days our founders are busy innovating new creations, while Purdy’s sons Charlie & Jack take things up a notch as co-CEOs. With the help of the dream teams in our factory and offices, and more than 300,000 wonderful people welcoming us into their homes, we’re well on the way to transforming cleaning into something you can actually enjoy.
We wouldn’t be here without all the people who’ve got behind us so far, and we’re grateful to every one of you who has. We can’t wait to fill even more of your lives with a bit more fragrance and a lot more joy.
